Exploring Transformational Territory

A small-group training for psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and experienced helping professionals.

Many practitioners encounter experiences that challenge the limits of existing maps.

Experiences of profound openness. Deep relational transformation. Encounters with mystery. States of interconnectedness. Psychedelic journeys that reshape meaning. Contemplative insights that alter one's understanding of self and reality.

Such experiences can be healing, disruptive, illuminating and difficult to integrate. They often resist simple explanation, moving across the boundaries of psychology, spirituality, relationship and culture.

The Threshold Mandala™ emerged from an attempt to understand this territory.

This founding cohort offers an opportunity to explore a developmental framework that brings together meditation, eros and psychedelics as distinct yet overlapping pathways of transformational inquiry.

A way of orienting ourselves—and those we work with—within some of the most profound experiences human beings encounter.

The purpose of this training is to cultivate greater sophistication in understanding transformational processes.

Participants will explore:

  • The Threshold Mandala™ as a framework for understanding transformational territory

  • Common developmental patterns across meditation, eros and psychedelics

  • Threshold experiences, liminality and developmental reorganisation

  • The relationship between transformational experience and integration

  • The Intensification Domains and their clinical implications

  • The movement from insight to embodiment, participation and stewardship

  • Applications of the framework within psychotherapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy

The emphasis throughout is on inquiry, reflection and dialogue.

Participants are invited to bring their own lived transformational experience, clinical wisdom and curiosity into the training field.

A Community of Inquiry

The training has been intentionally designed for a small group of practitioners.

The aim is to cultivate a community of inquiry capable of engaging thoughtfully with transformational experience.

Participants will be invited to contribute their own clinical experience, contemplative practice, questions and perspectives.

The richness of the training will emerge not only from the framework itself, but from the conversations that unfold within the group.
